Tezpur

Like most towns in Assam, Tezpur is known for its natural beauty. From here on, the corners will begin , as you will begin your ascent into the Himalyan foothills, We suggest a halt at one of the many tea stalls for a light snack and a cup of the world-famous Assamese tea. Riding on the scenic Koliabhumra Bridge is something not to be missed!

Bhalukpong

And you're in Arunachal Pradesh already! Bhalukpong, a popular adventure tourism destination, is located along the Tipi River. The roads here are isolated, so please ride with a full tank until you exit this little gem of a town.

Bomdila

To first-time visitors, Bomdila will seem like a ghost town. Tourism is new here, so be prepared for below-average, extremely tight roads. The roads do get snowed over completely in winter, so we suggest extreme caution while riding through here. The steep, snowy Shangti Valley might intimidate the inexperienced riders among you, by the way.

Dirang

Don't get alarmed if you spot yaks at the luscious corners en-route to Dirang! That's because there is a Yak research facility here. While at Diwang, we suggest a halt at one of the many beautiful tourist lodges. Also, do have a go at the bridge over the Kameng River. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Camping at the Shangti Valley is definitely recommended if you love the outdoors.

Sela Pass

Ready to ride at 13,700 feet above sea level? You better be, as the Sela Pass is the one and only road that connects it to the rest of the country. Traffic will be moderate depending on the weather, so progress might be slower than expected. The temperatures here sometimes reach -10 degrees, so better break out the winter gear!

Tawang

Bordered by Tibet, Bhutan and the Sela mountain pass, Tawang is considered to be the jewel of Arunachal. An early start to the day is recommended, so one can reach the city just in time to have a tour of the Tawang Monastery and War Memorial.
