Planning a ride out of the city with your crew? There could be no better place other than the always bustling Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus as your assembly point. It has a huge parking lot, washrooms, small shops selling snacks and ATM’s. Due to its close proximity to NH 48, it’s the perfect start point too!

The Maduravoyal junction leading to Tiruvallur is always busy and teeming with traffic and serves as a great obstacle course for riders. So plan your trip accordingly. Take the lane below the Chennai Outer Ring road, on to the NH50. The roads have been paved recently, making it a smooth and hassle free ride towards your next destination.

The stretch leading to Thiruttani via NH50 is a ride with a view! The road is smooth, wide & is complimented with scenic open fields on both side. Halt here to click an insta-worthy picture with your crew! If you’re hungry, order a lip-smacking dosa at any one of the food stalls served with a variety of chutneys! It is sure to energize you, instantly!

The Nabalur to Pattabiramapuram road is a dream stretch for bikers since it is flat, wide and has a lovely bank. As you reach the town of Bhakarapet, be ready to perfect your cornering as it is located on a tight 180 degree bend. While you ride, be wary of the local bus drivers, known to brake without warning!

Most know Tirupathi as the epicentre of all religious activities in India. Did you also know that NH 716, leading to this town is one of the best in the region? Traffic here is fast and well-regulated because of the number of people who attend it every year. On your way to Talakona, you will be treated with the view of the Poondi Lake!

A little further on the NH716, an elephant-shaped arch welcomes you into Talakona. If you plan to see a bit of Talakona head over to the Tirumala range for a relaxed and cool dip in the gushing waterfalls before you refuel and head back home!
