The ideal place to start this journey is from Bangalore Fort built by Kempe Gowda I. Get onto the NICE expressway and zip past traffic as you leave the city.

So take some time out and visit the shoot site, climb Ramadevarabetta hill and if you get lucky, spot some exotic birds.
As the sun starts to go over head, this is the perfect place to stop and have some delicious and utterly refreshing glass of Sugarcane juice. You might want to get some for the road as well.

From here the roads start to narrow down as it heads towards Bandipur. Be careful and alert while driving towards your destination as these routes are frequented by buses and tempo travellers. Look out for lush fields of Marigold and sunflowers to get you into the mood for adventure.

While driving through the forest reserve, you will see deers,elephants and other wild animals roaming around freely in the wild.
