Take the Jaipur-Kishangarh expressway towards Ajmer. The drive is smooth on the six-lane highway with farmlands on either side.

Passing through small towns and cities such as Gundoj, Sumerpur and Sirohi one reaches the foot of the plateau. A few km from Sirohi is Pandoori, the start of ascent to Mount Abu.
