If your favourite mammal is the elephant then you need to stop by at Sakreblye. They have an elephant camp that is maintained by the Karnataka Forest Department and is one of the few ecotourism centres that offers people a chance to look at the huge tuskers from close quarters. You could be lucky to bathe them as well!

Fun fact - Agumbe was used as a set for a couple of episodes for the famous TV show Malgudi days. Since Agumbe is a forest reserve, it has much to offer from wild animals, birds to waterfall and sunset points. So do spend some time and explore and reminiscence the childhood days. You could camp here for the night!
